Law enforcement officials with Waldo County Sheriff's Office reported the following recent activity: June 25 Shawn M. Murray, 43, of Jackson was driving on Village Road when a deer ran into the roadway. Murray's 2008 Chevrolet passenger car struck the animal but he was uninjured in the crash.
