The lockout at Regional School Unit 3 schools was lifted at 2:48 p.m., according to Superintendent Charles Brown. Brown sent a message to parents at approximately 2 p.m. today that all district schools were on lockdown, with no one allowed enter or leave the buildings, in response to information from the Waldo County Sheriff's office. A call to the sheriff's office was not returned right away.
